Beta Design Consultants presented three case studies that showcase the challenges faced and novel solutions implemented by our engineers to overcome them. Our Director presented the use of high performance concrete for strengthening, the use of carbon fibre combined with high performance concrete and the use of post installed shear strengthening to resist punching shear.
The case studies presented included Brindleyplace in Birmingham, Kennedy Institute at the University of Oxford and Harwell Building at Didcot Campus.
